I wholeheartedly welcome you all in the Department of Physics at KBP College, Vashi, Navi Mumbai. It drives me with a tremendous amount of happiness to put forth the activities of our department. I have immense pleasure to share that our department has highly qualified and dedicated faculty. It is worthwhile to express our care and commitment to our students, guiding them to learn, grow, develop and achieve their goals in their pursuits so as to excel in their professional careers.

The department of physics is one of the star departments of the college with 10 faculty members and around 400 undergraduates, masters and doctoral degree students. The department's programmes continue to march forward with our well qualified and dedicated faculty members consistently striving for the students so that they could reach beyond the boundaries bringing a lot of laurels to our society. The department was established in the year 1984 as a UG department and evolved to offer postgraduate programme and doctoral programme from 2016 and 2015 respectively. I take great pride in sharing that our department rigorously follows outcome-based education in the teaching learning process.

The department strives to provide a conducive environment for the students to develop scientific insights and practical skills and apply them to solve the real-world problems. In order to motivate the students, the department organizes regular trainings in various aspects of physics and to enrich their knowledge, the department arranges workshops, national and international conferences periodically. Active participation of students in training programs, seminars and workshops etc and research recognitions of the faculty members speakabout the quality of students and faculty members with the constant support and encouragements of the college management. 

I extend my heartfelt appreciation to the faculty members and students for their sincere efforts, innovation, achievements, and valuable contributions to the department. Their dedication and commitment continue to strengthen our academic environment and inspire excellence. With a shared vision and continued enthusiasm, the department is set to reach even greater milestones in the coming years. I take this opportunity to express my gratitude and wish everyone continued success in all future endeavors.
