Departmental Fest (2025-26)

Organizing a Departmental fest for the Accounting and Finance is one of the best way to cater experiential teaching learning approach where students fosters a sense of community, encourage teamwork, and provide a platform for students to showcase their talents, enhancing their confidence and self-expression. Fests encourage active student participation, creating a vibrant and dynamic academic environment. It also helps students develop essential soft skills such as leadership, teamwork, and communication.

The fest encompassed a wide array of competitions tailored to challenge participants' accounting expertise, creativity, critical thinking, and cultural awareness. The competitions included:

Enhanced Academic Engagement: The fest provided students with a platform to apply theoretical knowledge gained in the classroom to real-world scenarios and practical challenges. This hands-on approach to learning enhanced their understanding and retention of accounting concepts.

Promotion of Creativity and Critical Thinking: Competitions such as the poster competition and debate competition encouraged participants to think creatively, critically analyze information, and communicate their ideas effectively. These skills are invaluable in the professional world and contribute to overall academic and personal development.

Community Building and Networking: The fest brought together students, faculty members, and industry professionals, fostering a sense of community within the department and facilitating networking opportunities. Students had the chance to interact with peers who share similar interests and aspirations, creating a supportive and enriching academic environment.

Recognition of Talent and Achievement: The competitions provided a platform for students to showcase their talents, skills, and knowledge in front of their peers and faculty members. Winners and participants were recognized for their achievements, motivating them to excel further in their academic and professional pursuits.

Industrial Visit (2025-26)

Organizing industrial visits for B.Com Accountancy and Finance students can be a valuable component of their education. These visits provide students with practical exposure to real-world business operations and financial practices.

Objective:-

  1.  Enable students to connect theoretical concepts learned in the classroom with actual business practices in the industry.

  2.  Gain firsthand experience and insights into the day-to-day operations of businesses, especially those related to accounting and finance.

  3.  Provide students with the chance to interact with professionals, financial analysts, and accountants in the industry, facilitating networking and mentorship possibilities.

  4.  Understand the importance of ethical considerations in financial and accounting decisions by observing how companies maintain integrity in their operations.

CSR Activity - Study Material Donation Drive (2025-26)

The department has organized a CSR activity at an NNMC school, where essential school supplies has distributed to underprivileged students. BAF students are encouraged to actively participate by contributing educational materials such as notebooks, stationery items, colours, and other necessary learning resources.

The collected items will be handed over to the students during a visit to the school. This initiative aims to support their educational needs and motivate them to continue their studies with confidence.

Through this activity, students will get an opportunity to engage in community service and experience the impact of contributing towards a meaningful social cause.

Objectives of Activity:

  1. To promote the importance of education and equal learning opportunities for all children.

  2. To encourage social responsibility and community involvement among BAF students.

  3. To develop empathy, leadership, and teamwork skills through active participation in CSR initiatives.

  4. To contribute positively to the community and strengthen the bond between the college and society.

CSR Activity - Child abuse, Good Touch & Bad Touch, General Awareness. (2025-26) To educate primary school students about personal safety, boundaries, and how to recognize and report inappropriate behavior through age-appropriate, engaging, and empowering activities.

The activity began with a short storytelling session using child-friendly characters to introduce the concept of safe vs. unsafe touch, emphasizing the importance of trusting their feelings and speaking up when they feel uncomfortable.

Objectives of Activity:

  1. Introduce the concept of safe and unsafe touch using simple language and scenarios.

  2. Encourage students to say "NO" to uncomfortable situations and understand that it’s okay to speak up.

  3.  Teach children how and when to talk to a trusted adult if they feel unsafe or confused.

  4. Help children identify trusted adults (parents, teachers, counselors, etc.).

  5. Provide tools (like storybooks, songs, or interactive games) to help reinforce these messages regularly.

 

Departmental Fest (2024-25)

The event featured a variety of engaging activities including Guess the Brand, an interactive game testing brand awareness; a Treasure Hunt that promoted teamwork and problem-solving through exciting clues; a Poster Competition showcasing creative presentations of accounting and finance concepts; a Debate Competition encouraging critical discussions on relevant topics; a two-round Quiz Competition covering accounting and Housie, a fun number-based game that enhanced focus, alertness, and quick decision-making skills.The fest enhanced academic learning by helping students apply theoretical knowledge in practical ways while encouraging creativity and critical thinking. It fostered networking and community building among students and faculty, recognized and rewarded talent, and promoted cultural awareness through diverse activities, contributing to overall academic and personal development.

 

Industrial Visit (2024-25)

The visit also focuses on developing professional and communication skills through interaction with industry experts, while offering insights into entrepreneurship and the tourism sector. Additionally, it

promotes cultural awareness and understanding of desert ecology and sustainable practices, especially in the sand dune regions, while guiding students toward potential career opportunities.

 

Objectives of Activity:

  1.   To provide students with real-world exposure to industrial operations, manufacturing processes, and management practices in Jaipur and Jodhpur.

  2.   To connect classroom knowledge with actual industrial applications, enhancing technical and analytical skills

  3.   To help students explore potential career opportunities in manufacturing, tourism, and heritage management sectors
