Message from HOD


The Food Science and Technology Programme aimed to serve the special need of providing high-quality manpower for the growing modern food industry of the 21st century in the country and beyond. Thus it has become of great importance in developing young minds' interest in the food sector. Keeping in this mind Karmaveer Bhaurao Patil College started the Department of B.Voc Food Technology in 2018.

Over the years, the department has incessantly worked for accelerating the pace of academic growth and development of subject knowledge of students. The department has a spacious laboratory with well-equipped instruments for students. The department has four Assistant Professors who are enthusiastic and student-friendly. The teachers are also available to the students for academic as well as personal counseling. The department is also well-versed in ITC teaching methods.

The Department organized several inter-collegiate programs and competitions. We also host various talks from eminent personalities on various subjects of Food Technology to develop a scientific curiosity among students which would lead to their successful careers. The department also undertakes activities to inculcate social responsibility, and civic duty through extension activities.
